Women only services

Wednesday afternoon’s provide a dedicated women only support group / drop-in session at the centre.  this group, which is now formally constituted and in receipt of its own funding for the provision of activities, provides a safe supportive environment for women to meet and find support.  In response to demand, this group now organises activities every other Wedesday.  These vary from social and recreational activities, such as visiting speakers or taster sessions on complementary therapy and physical excercise.  This group attracts between 10 to 20 women weekly and has helped redress the previous under-representation of women using the sevive (women now make up almost 50% of our service users).

The women-only group takes place every Wedesday from 1pm untill 5pm.
